  I'm interested in hearing how other small liberal arts institutions have successfully engaged their faculty members in this issue and whether these efforts have changed faculty behaviors. Despite the economic downturn, the major scholarly publishers, commercial and society, do not get that they need to develop new business models.

  I don't know how far this would get, but I'd be interested in working on it, and the impact would be greater if a number of us were able to combine forces.
